When I joined national charity, Changing Lives, as their Communications Manager, I knew I needed to tackle their outdated website as a top priority.

Working with a talented design agency

This job was a big one, so I brought in a web design agency to help translate my ideas into reality. However, I was responsible for the rest of the project.

Working alongside the talented Ryan Harland at DigiPro Media, I:

• reviewed audiences and messaging

• add new sections to meet different audience needs

• rewrote the majority of the text

• directed photoshoots to improve image quality

• ​introduced an organisation-wide service directory with searchable database and map

Result

The website was well-received and widely praised. People felt it was more professional, easier to navigate, more informative, and better reflected the charity's focus on people.
